My experience Cirque du Slots Slot by Rival

've never been a fan of any circus-themed games, either old or new, because these games just couldn't meet up to my expectations. Even a popular game like 'Golden Ticket' couldn't excite me enough. Some other older games are fairly good too, but they are usually without any Free Spins or Bonus games, and that doesn't thrill me either. This Cirque Du Slots game looks okay at first glance, but the graphics seem to be a bit lacking in depth and vibrancy. Not that pleasing as I would like it to be, but a good game play would put all that matter aside. Can Cirque Du Slots perform good enough? Let's find out.
There are 3 'Act's in the game. In Act 1, during the free spins, the Wild symbol can expand horizontally. In Act 2, during the free spins, the Wild symbol can expand horizontally or vertically, and doubles all wins. In Act 3, during the free spins, the Wild symbol can expand in both directions at the same time, but doesn't double the wins.

After playing this game a few times over several months, I have realised that getting the expanding 5 Wilds in the Free Spins games pay very lowly indeed. I had those Wilds expanded horizontally from reel 1 to reel 5, for 5-of-a-kind Wild win, a few times in total, but the payouts were unbelievably damn low, from just 5x to 10x my total bet amount! Gees! I had wanted to get screenshots of these wins, but seeing that the payout was not even 10x my bet amount, I decided not to. This Cirque Du Slots game has the worst and the lowest paying 5 Wilds win I have ever come across! Upon realising this only recently, after my last play on it, I will never ever play it again!
The Green Girl is the Wild symbol. It doesn't pay anything for itself, it doesn't become stacked or expanded in the base game, but it substitutes for all symbols except the Scatter and Bonus symbols, and triples all wins in the base game only. It doesn't triple wins during the free spins. What a waste! During the free spins, the Wild symbol can expand horizontally, vertically, or in both directions, depending in which 'Act' the Wild symbol appears.
The Clown is the Scatter symbol, 5 of which pays a very low 25x the total bet amount, and getting 3 or more of them triggers 7 free spins without any win multiplier, and cannot be retriggered. Oh sheesh! The Monocycle is the Bonus symbol, also paying 25x the total bet for 5 of them, and getting 3 or more of the Monocycle advances the game into the next 'Act'. As for the other symbols in the game, they pay from a low 600x to 40x the line bet for 5 of each kind. For a 25-paylines game, this paytable is disappointingly very low!
Cirque du Slots is the newest Rival slot game. The game comes with 25 pay-lines and 5 reels. Slot games with 25 pay-lines are not usual for Rival and at this moment I can’t remember of any other Rival game with 25 pay-lines.
Cirque du Slots is a well-designed game with great animations but however I do not like the sound that can be heard while playing. When it comes to the features, Cirque du Slots comes with pretty original rules for them. In the next few sentences I'll try to briefly describe them.
Cirque du Slots the first one is the expanding wild symbol that can appear on any of the 5 reels. Then, there is the free spins feature. For 3 or more Scatter symbols you will receive 7 free spins which cannot be retriggered. Except free spins, for 3 scatter symbols you will also get a reward of 1 x bet, for 4 scatter symbols a reward of 5 x bet and for 5 scatter symbols you will be paid 25 x bet.
What makes this game original is that it consists of 3 Acts. With 3 symbols with Unicycle you move to the next Act. The wild symbol during the free spins pays differently in different Act.
A few days ago I had the opportunity to try this game. I’ve started and already after just 10 - 15 minutes here I lost 11 euros by playing with a min bet per spin. During that time I had only two wins bigger than 1 Euro.
After that I moved on to another game and I returned again on this game after about half an hour. Again, although I had a little more success for a short time, I lost about 15 euros here. My biggest win was 4.8 euros thanks to the 2 expanding wilds on the second and the third reels. All in all, Cirque du Slots by Rival is not a game that I liked much. However, I think it deserves at least a positive rating. Therefore, for the Cirque du Slots I give 6 out of 10 possible stars.
Cirque du Slots is the newest release from Rival software and although I am not their biggest fan, I was intrigued to try this game. Intrigued and a bit scared, because I don't really like the cirque theme and it's because of using animals in them. I do like the athletic performances from people. So I can say I was really relieved when I saw there were no animals in this game.
This game has 5 reels and 25 paylines, wild symbol and free spins bonus round. I had a very long session with this game and I have to say I've grown to like it a lot. The most important feature in this game is wild symbol. In base game it expands on a winning combinations and 3x multiplies wins. I experienced many nice winnings when I got two expanded wilds and that wasn't a rare situation. This game is divided into 3 acts. They are all the same, but the only thing that is different is the wild symbol, in free spins wild expands and depending on the act they will expand on different directions.
When you get 3 bicycle symbols you get to next act. I've explored them all and I can say the payouts on free spins can be great but it all is because of wilds, because when you get 3 or more scatters anywhere, you get 7 free spins, which have no multiplier at all, so the only thing that can give great winnings is wild. I'm saying this because I've got few winnings myself over 100x bet, but because I was playing on auto play I didn't manage to capture them. Also I think that free spins aren't hard to trigger, in my experience I got them at least once within 100 spins.
Overall I think this is a really great game from Rival and they surprised me in a very good way with this release. The design is average, I think they might have done it better, but the payouts I experienced were good. I didn't get bored because the all "act thing" was interesting and the way the wilds changed in free spins was exciting. I think this game has a good winning potential and I recommend it.
